🩰CONTEST PRIZE SYSTEM AND RULES

    • • In our competition, the scoring is done by our esteemed jury members from the State Opera and Ballet.
    •
    • • No prior information is given to our juries during the application stages and rehearsals.
    •
    • • Until the day of the performance, the jury members do not watch the contestant rehearsals in any way, they are not on the stage.
    •
    • • The jury arrives shortly before the competition on the day of the performance and watches until the end of the performance.
    •
    • • The scoring sheet of the jury members does not include information about which schools the performances belong to.
    •
    • • The priorities in the evaluations are as follows.
    •
  • 1) The technical difficulty of performance is a priority.
  •
  • 2) It is a priority to present performances selected from classical repertoire works without facilitation.
  •
  • 3) Musicality (the harmony of choreography with music and maximum use of rhythm) is evaluated.
  •
  • 4) Synchronization (harmony and unity of the dancers with each other) is evaluated.
  •
  • 5) Costume, choreography, and music harmony are evaluated.
  • Instant performance success (technical success, balance, memorization, etc.) is evaluated.
  •
  • 6) In group categories, the evaluation of large or less crowded groups is equal. One is not considered superior to the other for this reason alone.
  •
  • 7) Presentation (mimic, energy) is evaluated.
  •
  • 8) Scene usage (scene placement and difficulty of transitions) is evaluated.
  •
  • 9) The use of Pointe by competitors aged 12 and over has priority in scoring if they have technical competence. If sufficient technique is not presented, the dancer who dances with booties can get ahead in the rankings.
  •

    • • Our organization does not award any monetary prizes of value. Group category winners receive one trophy (award or plate), and solo category winners receive a medal.
    •
    • • Each contestant participating in the competition is given a stamped certificate with the signatures of the jury president and art manager of our organization.
    •
    • • Sponsor awards are given annually by various sponsors. Since these awards are limited, they are usually given to the winners of categories with the highest number of competing performances. If there are enough sponsor awards, solo and other categories can also be awarded.
