🩰CATEGORIES AND AGE SYSTEM
- • In our competition, professional and semi professional categories are first divided into two.
-
- • Our competition consists of a total of 5 main categories: Classical Ballet, Neo-Classical, Modern, Character, and jazz/musical dances.
-
- • Each main category is divided into 3 groups as "Group", "duo/trio/quatre", and "Solo", and each category is divided into age groups.
-
- • Each dancer competing in our competition can compete once in every category. In other words, a dancer in the same category cannot compete more than 1 time.
-
- • All categories are divided into 5 as "under 9 years old" (6-8), "under 12 years old" (7-11), "under 15 years old” (12-14 years old), “under 21 years old” (15-20) and "21 years and older". When determining the age category, the age of the eldest dancer dancing in group dances is taken into consideration.
-
- • The average age of the dancers is not considered for group performances.
- The age of the largest person in the group is taken into account.
